Back to REALITY today after a long, relaxing, much needed break from the city. It couldn’t have been a better vacation, although we missed Layla terribly and wished she could have been with us. (Yes, perhaps she is just a dog, but we love her so much!) Thank you, Miss Tara, for being such a fantastic dog sitter! Our hotel was the perfect find; the rooms were gorgeous with views of the ocean and city skyline. We also loved the hotel lobby espresso bar with fresh pastries and delicious soy lattes made to order. The people were as friendly as could be, which is always a plus when traveling. Our favorite meal was at Bianca in the Delano Hotel. It was truly the most scrumptious meal I have ever had! We vowed to go back for the same meal again someday in the future. It was just too good. Lots of storms while we were there, but we didn’t mind. It made for a super cozy time! My favorite photo below is Joe doing a handstand in the sparkling green ocean. What could be better!
